![]() I had the same problem but seem to have found a better solution but before trying to install the driver from the setup disk. If this does not work, I am sorry, and please note that NETGEAR does not support WNA1100 in Consumer Preview. Install the driver and you should be able to connect. ![]() Right click on it, and pick Run as Administrator again. ![]() After setting the compatibility mode, just to be sure, don't run the setup.exe file directly. Then go down to Privilege Level and pick run Select Windows 7 from the drop down list. Then select Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows 7. Right click on the setup.exe file and click properties. If this works with the regular setup file I have no idea. I used the one in the DRIVER ONLY folder. If you have the drivers, find the setup.exe file to install the drivers. I got it working in Consumer Preview using these steps. I have the same adapter got a blue screen.
